About the Ski Resort

Marble Mountain Resort is Atlantic Canada's winter playground. The resort lies in a snow belt and gets an average annual snowfall of 16 feet. Marble Mountain is part of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, stretching up from Georgia in the Southern United States. The summit of Marble Mountain is 1,700 feet above the Humber River which cuts a winding path through the majestic Humber Valley to the Bay of Islands.

Marble Mountain is located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. Newfoundland and Labrador is the eastern-most province in Canada.

Marble Mountain is just 10 minutes from the City of Corner Brook, the second largest city in the province. Corner Brook offers fine dining, shopping and night life.

A number of quality accomodations are nearby to provide skiers and snowboarders with a convenient, comfortable place to relax after a day on the slopes.

The Resort is only a short trip away from all major Atlantic Canadian cities. From the international airports at St. John's or Halifax, you're only two hours by air from the base of Marble Mountain.
