About the Ski Resort
Join the adventure on the slopes this winter at Chicopee, southern Ontario's great family ski & snowboard centre. Close to everywhere ~ minutes from the 401 and central to Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph; members and day ticket buyers are welcome to ski & snowboard Chicopee for fun & excitement. We have several professional instructor's and with our gentle sloping Beginner Centre and several novice ski runs, we are the perfect place for the entire family to learn to ski. Chicopee is a good time. Guaranteed.
A retreating glacier carving through Waterloo Region almost 12,000 years ago created the hills at Chicopee. A similar dogged determination by the founding membership established the Chicopee Ski Club in 1934 as a not-for-profit organization providing winter recreation on 165 acres, and developed since that time by professional engineers and ski enthusiasts alike. The driving force behind the growth and prosperity of Chicopee over the years has been the spirit of its members, volunteers and employees. We are a proud community partner that continues to involve itself in making the community as a whole, a better place to live. Today, Chicopee embraces, with enthusiasm, the untold future ahead.
