SKI COMPETITIONS

The competition is a event where all of skiers that participate in it, try to prove their skills and level. In skiing there are some categories where a skier can contest among them:

Alpine Skiing In 1936 Alpine Skiing became part of the Olympic programme. Cross Country Skiing This discipline at the Olympic Winter Games, comprises twelve different cross-country skiing events. Freestyle Skiing Freestyle skiing was recognised as a discipline in 1979 by the International Ski Federation. Nordic Combined These events have been added since the 1st Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix - Mont Blanc in 1924. Ski Jumping Ski jumping has been attached to the Olympic Winter Games since the first Games in the Chamonix Mont-Blanc in 1924. Snowboard In 1990 was formed the International Snowboarding Federation (ISF).
