About the Ski Resort

Aspen/Snowmass offers wide-open blue skies and fluffy white powder, as well as some of the most diverse terrain in North America.

At Aspen/Snowmass, one ticket allows you to experience Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk. Combined, the ticket offers four mountains with a plethora of terrain, countless lifts, numerous trails, vertical drops, inches of fresh snow and endless blue skies- all located within a 12-mile radius and accessible by free shuttles.

Aspen Mountain
Aspen Mountain, the flagship mountain of the Aspen/Snowmass resort complex, rises grandly out of the heart of downtown Aspen at 11,212 feet. This 675-acre mountain is known for steeps and bumps and is a favorite among upper-intermediate and advanced skiers.

The area also offers backcountry Snowcat tours along the backside of the mountain for intermediate through expert skiers and boarders. Guides are supremely knowledgeable of the mountain and will attempt to thrill, inform and lead groups to Aspens legendary and breathtaking natural terrain.

Adding to the mountain attractions is Aspen Mountain's high-altitude cuisine. Three appetizing restaurants are perched at 11,212 feet area dubbed Sundeck, which features 30-foot ceilings, a massive rock fireplace and houses a cafeteria (Sundeck), a sit-down restaurant (Benedicts), and a semiprivate club (The Aspen Mountain Club).

Guests at the mountain may have their equipment transferred at the end of the day to any of the four ski areas in Aspen/Snowmass for $3. Additionally, guests may store their equipment overnight at any mountain and may also have their equipment tuned, waxed or repaired overnight for an additional charge.

A historic mining town, Aspen's rich culture and community provide endless opportunities for visitors to renew the mind, body and spirit. Located near the end of Roaring Fork Valley, the town boasts some of the most unique bistros and beautiful lodging with a magnificent Rocky Mountain backdrop.
