About the Ski resort
|

|

"Just Say No To I70", is the motto for Colorado's closest skiing to Denver and Colorado's front range, Eldora Mountain Resort. Just a mere 20-mile drive or RTD bus ride from Boulder and you arrive at Eldora's Indian Peaks which offer supreme skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and snowshoeing all together.
Since 1962, Eldora has offered quality skiing on 53 trails with a variety of terrain in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Every trail is groomed with an advanced system that leaves slopes with a soft corduroy result that lasts all day.
Families can enjoy a variety of winter activities from downhill skiing and snowboarding to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, or a day for the children at the Children's Center. Multiple lesson programs are also available, such as the the 5-week Eldorables Children's program.
Eldora has challenging steeps and newly improved glade terrain on the Corona side and sensational cruising down well-groomed slopes on the front side. Four awesome terrain parks are built with mulitiple lines to drop depending on ability levels. Hidden tree runs are all over the mountain and you can always find a stash of fresh snow!
To the side of the mountain are a variety of cross-country terrain, such as a Nordic center with 45 km of marked and groomed trails. If you're looking for skiing with the relatives, skier's right of the mountain has an area just for family fun.
For beginning skiers, Eldora offers a gentle rise serviced by Tenderfoot and Caribou lifts. And for cross-country fanatics, the Nordic Center has 45 km of marked and groomed trails.
Eldora is easily accessed via Colorado Highway 119 -- no mountain passes, no I-70 traffic hassle.
