About the Ski resort

SolVista provides the very best in affordable, friendly family skiing and snowboarding tucked right next to the Continental Divide in Colorado.
Located just 15 minutes past Winter Park, SolVista is 87 miles northwest of Denver, the mountain is perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers and boarders. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the resort has many activities for the whole family.
SolVista offers 33 designated trails on 406 acres. The East Mountain is ideal for beginners and intermediates, with long, well-groomed runs.
The West Mountain offers more advanced steeper terrain, bowl skiing and moguls.
First-time skiers and riders have their own separate area designated for a fun and non-intimidating learning atmosphere. The SolVista ski school provides group and private lessons for skiers and riders of all ages and ability levels.
Cross country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts will appreciate the SolVista Nordic trail system, encompassing 40 kilometers of groomed trails and spectacular scenery. Equipment rentals are available at the SolVista Base Lodge.
For evening activities, entertainment and restaurants are available in the nearby towns of Granby, Grand Lake and Winter Park.
From Denver, take I-70 west to Exit 232, then HWY 40 west to SolVista.

Take hwy 550 to Silverton drive through town and when in doubt stay left. Follow signs to Silverton Mountain ski area up hwy 110A. Don't miss the hard left turn before the water tower and after the town park. The chairlift is located approximately 6 miles from town. Only an hour from Durango and Ouray.
