Sugarloaf USA is Maine's biggest ski mountain!

With a continuous, one-mountain vertical drop of 2,820 feet, the longest in the East, and a summit elevation of 4,237 feet, Sugarloaf USA boasts of more than 54 miles of trails ranging from novice to expert-only.

One hundred thirty three trails traverse Sugarloaf USA's 1,400 skiable acres, including three trails more than three miles long, three terrain parks and 2 half-pipes.

Sugarloaf USA's 4,237-foot summit is served by a high-capacity quad, and the rest of the mountain is well-serviced by 2 high-speed super-quads and 1 high-capacity quad chair, a triple and eight double chairs, and one surface lift.

Snowmaking covers trails in all 15 lift areas. Grooming is performed nightly by 12 Bombardier machines, which cover a distance equivalent to the distance between Portland, Maine, and Chicago on a given night.

Sugarloaf USA is located 16 miles north of Kingfield, Maine. From the South, take I-95 to the Maine Turnpike to Exit 12 (Auburn), then Route 4 north through Farmington to Route 27 north.
From Montreal and points west, take Route 10 east to the end, then 112 east and 253 south to 108 east to 212 east to 161 south to the U.S. border. Sugarloaf is 58 km south of the Canadian border.
