About the Ski Resort

Located on Department of Military Affairs property, Hanson Hills Recreation Area is a family-oriented ski park managed and operated by the Grayling Recreation Authority. They have 10 slopes for downhill skiing, 21 miles of cross-country terrain, ice skating, tubing, sleigh rides and two lodges. Opened in 1929, it was the first ski park in Michigan.
