Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City is located 43 miles from Missaukee Mountain, or a little over an hour by car. From the airport, drive SW on US 31 for 5 miles to State Road 37 and then head S for 6 miles, get on State Road 113 and drive E for 18 miles to the City of Walton Junction, MI, then proceed S for 7 miles on US 131 to State Road 42, drive E for 10 miles to State Road 66, then head S for 2 miles to Lake City, where the ski area is located.
