About the Ski Resort
Mount Bohemia is unlike any other ski area in the Midwest. Much of our terrain is very advanced or expert only, even by "Rocky Mountain" standards.
The Mount Bohemia destination resort, now in its second season, promises expert skiers and snowboarders not only the Midwest's highest vertical (900'), but also the deepest powder.
In fact, it would be hard to find better snow anywhere!
Bohemia's extreme back country offers real adventure, whether its launching off the legendary Apex or Horseshoe chutes or cruising the many back country glades.

Ski Resort directions
Nicholas White (Midland, MI, 4 Jan, 2006): An absolute must while touring the keewenaw is a visit to THE gay bar. From the north, you have a 20 mile drive along the icy shoreline in which you may pass only one or two other cars. There are no houses until you see the chimney from the mining era, and you know you are there. The gay bar was formerly known as the gay tavern. Good food.
