About the Ski Resort

Cascade Lodge is located in the midst of Cascade River State Park overlooking Lake Superior. Located 100 miles NE. of Duluth midway between Lutsen and Grand Marais.

Stay in the historic lodge or one of our private cabins. Cascade has fireplaces, kitchenettes and whirlpool tubs available. Cross country ski right from the lodge. For alpine enthusiasts they are 11 miles from Lutsen Mts Ski Area.

Ski Resort directions

Cascade Lodge is just 100 miles from Duluth on Highway 61, about five hours from the Twin Cities. It is four lane freeway all the way to Two Harbors and from there one follows what is considered by many to be one of the most scenic drives in the country. Cascade Lodge is about 9 miles north of the Lutsen Ski Area & Superior National Golf Course and about 9 miles south of Grand Marais. (See map above)
