About the Ski resort
|

|

Today, the resorts offer skiers and snowboarders a unique two-for-one winter sports opportunity in Northeast Ohio. Both resorts are located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.
Skiers with an exchangeable ticket can shuttle between the two areas in a matter of minutes. The beginner areas are conveniently located near the lodges, while the top of the North Bowl is one of several black diamond-rated slopes and features a mogul-filled run. Snowboarders have access to all of Brandywine's slopes. The Brandywine half-pipe is one of the most challenging in the Midwest. The Terrain Park here enables both skiers and snowboarders the thrill of maneuvering mounds and moguls.
If Mother Nature does not cooperate, Boston Mills and Brandywine are prepared to manufacture snow to cover 75 acres of ski slopes overnight.
Brandywine also has a unique tubing area. Twelve inch-wide chutes have been sculpted into a kind of miniature bobsled run that controls the direction of the tube and keeps the tube in the chute. There are four chutes exclusively for tubing on the Snowflake slope.
Boston Mills and Brandywine have more than 300 instructors teaching a variety of instructional programs -- both downhill and snowboard techniques.
To get there from Cleveland, take Route 271 south to the Route 303 exit. Head east on Route 303. Turn left onto Riverview Road for Boston Mills.
For Brandywine, continue on to the Route 8 intersection. Head north, turn left onto Hines Hill Road, then right onto Brandywine Road.
