About the Ski Resort
The entire family will enjoy learning to ski on Woodside's beginner downhill slopes featuring free ski lessons, free rope tow and free use of downhill ski equipment. We also have over 10 miles of marked and groomed cross-country ski trails. Both beginners and experts will find a trail to their liking, from gentle rolling terrain to exciting downhill runs.
For something new, try Snow runners, like roller blades on snow. Other outdoor activities include horseback riding, sleigh rides and tubing. After ski activities include movie parties, sauna, game room and the Saturday Nite Barn Dance, with Social, Square and Line Dancing.
Woodside Ranch is located five miles east of Mauston and 20 miles northwest of Wisconsin Dells in the heart of the famous Upper Dells Region.
The Ranch, consisting of more than 1,000 acres, is situated on a high wooded hillside that offers a panoramic view of the beautiful Lemonweir River Valley.
Woodside is an operating ranch where guests are welcomed all year-round and can observe ranching (raising horses, buffalo and deer) and farming (raising hay, grain and corn) firsthand.
