Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area is located 32 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, in the stunningly beautiful Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest.
This ski area gets terrific snowfall and has a great atmosphere. Whether you're a novice or experienced skier or rider, Snowy Range is the place for you. The area has a myriad of trails with the longest stretching well over a mile long.
Riders get ripped at Renegade Park and on the half-pipe. It's a real challenge. Snowboarding lessons are available for first-timers and accomplished riders of all ages.
Cross-country trails are easy to access from Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area and are maintained by the U.S. Forest Service.
Snowy Range Ski Area is located 32 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming. Take I-80 exit 311 (Snowy Range Road) west to Hwy 130 then 32 miles into the scenic Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest.
